The film’s first-look poster was released last week on social media. It is backed by G Arul Kumar under the GS Arts banner.

Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga is set in Chennai. It is a story based on vengeance,” says Dinesh. “While Aishwarya plays the role of a school teacher, Arjun essays the character of an investigating officer. The film revolves around a murder mystery, with rain playing a significant role, as seen in the poster. The title denotes the guilt that lingers in those who have done bad things.”

The director has also penned the script. He tells us he wrote this film about two years ago. The dialogues are written by Navaneethan Sundarrajan.

Aside from the two lead actors, the cast includes Ramkumar Sivaji, GK Reddy, Praveen Raja, Prankster Rahul, and Thangadurai. Suresh Chakravarthy and Abhirami Venkatachalam, who are currently part of the reality show Bigg Boss Ultimate Tamil, will also be seen in the film.

Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga went on floors in September 2021. It is being shot entirely in the urban backdrop of Chennai by cinematographer Saravanan Abhimanyu, says Dinesh, adding that the filming is nearing completion.

The technical crew includes editor Lawrence Kishore and music director Bharath Aaseevgan. Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga will feature three songs, according to the director.

Dinesh mentions that the makers are yet to decide on the date and medium of release.
