Aishwarya Rajesh’s Boomika First Look Poster Released

The first look poster of the upcoming film Boomika, starring Aishwarya Rajesh, was unveiled by actors Jayam Ravi and Tamannaah, on Monday.

The Tamil version of the poster was unveiled by Ravi and Tamannaah released the Telugu version. Sharing the poster, Ravi wrote: “Here is the first look of #Boomika. A Horror Thriller starring @aishu_dil. It looks interesting and intriguing. Tamannaah also took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy to release the exciting first look of #Boomika. Starring @aishu_dil in her 25th film Presented by @karthiksubbaraj and directed by @RathindranR. Best wishes to the team.”

Boomika, helmed by director Rathindran Prasad, will be produced by Karthik Subbaraj, Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Kal Raman, and S Somasegar under their Stone Bench Films banner, and by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaraman under their Passion Studios banner.

Italian cinematographer Roberto Zazzara will be handling the camera and the music will be composed by Prithvi Chandrasekar. While Anand Geraldin will be in charge of editing, Mohan has been roped in to be the art director. The stunts have been choreographed by Don Ashok and Jayalakshmi Sundaresan has designed the costumes.

In an interview with The Times of India, director Prasad said that the movie is billed to be a mystery thriller and the plot will be about questioning the involvement of paranormal activities. He had also revealed that Aishwarya will be playing the role of a psychologist.

Boomika will mark Prasad’s second directorial project after Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai, which also stars Aishwarya, along with Ashwin Kakumanu and Abhay Deol. The film is yet to be released, despite being completed.  

Aishwarya was last seen in Ka Pae Ranasingam along with Vijay Sethupathi. The movie, directed by P Virumandi, had released earlier this month on Zeeplex on a pay-per-view mode. She also has Vignesh Karthick‘s Thittam Irandu, Shiva Nirvana’s Tuck Jagdishand Gautham Menon‘s Dhruva Natchathiram in her kitty.
