Director Siva’s spy espionage thriller AK-57, starring Ajith Kumar, has been postponed. The film was earlier slated to release on 14 April.
According to sources, the dates have been pushed to June and the film will now release during the Ramzan celebrations. The new dates haven’t yet been officially announced. The team will release the first look of the film on 17 January during Pongal.
The actor wrapped up the shooting schedule in Bulgaria recently. Eighty percent of the shoot has been completed and the last schedule will begin after Pongal.
AK 57 stars Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Hassan as the female leads. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi plays the main antagonist in the movie.
