Atrangi Re will reportedly see no compromise in terms of schedules or locations and will be shot both indoor and outdoor as per the original plan. Although, the makers say, strict safety measures and guidelines laid down by the governments will be followed by all members on set inclusive of crew isolation that is imperative.

While Sara and Dhanush shoot in Madurai, Akshay Kumar will join the sets in Delhi and Mumbai for about a month. Aanand reportedly plans to wrap up the shoot by the end of the year if things go according to plan.

“We will be filming outdoors, but it’s going to be a very organised shoot. Everyone is aware of the risk involved in not following prescribed guidelines and we will try to wrap up in the minimum time possible,” Aanand said to Mumbai Mirror.

According to reports, the film will see both the lead actors romancing Sara parallelly but in different eras. Sara is believed to hail from Bihar and Dhanush from Madurai. The non-linear narrative will reportedly talk about how love is perceived in the North and South.
