Alia Bhatt, who was not chosen for the National Award this year, has told fans not to feel bad for her as there is still plenty of time left in her career. Speaking at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2017 awards on Tuesday, as reported by the Hindustan Times, she said, “Please don’t feel bad. I am not going anywhere. There is a lot of time. I did not feel bad so even you don’t feel bad about it.”
The actress received rave reviews for her performance in Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi, and was considered by many as the frontrunner to win the National Award. The award, however, went to Surabhi Lakshmi for her performance in the critically acclaimed Malayalam language film, Minaminungu.
