Alia Bhatt is likely to produce her own films if she cannot find producers to fund films she wants to make, reports DNA. According to the outlet, Bhatt hasn’t signed any new films since Badrinath Ki Dulhania, because she wants to produce her own.

According to a source, “Alia has certain subjects in mind that she wants to do. But no producer is willing to invest money in such out-of-the-box stories. Alia therefore wants to do her own thing. She will produce films for herself as well as for other actors.”
Alia comes from a family of filmmakers. Her father Mahesh Bhatt is a director, while her uncle Mukesh Bhatt is a producer. Her mother Soni Razdan has directed films, and her sister Pooja Bhatt is also director.
Actresses Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma have also been producing films.
