Actor Anandhraj makes his Bollywood debut with Action Jackson. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead while Anand Raj plays the villain. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, Anandhraj said that Prabhu Deva requested him to shed about 12 kilos to look fit for the role.

Thanking the director, Anandhraj further added that he sports a look similar to that of former Soviet statesman Mikhail Gorbachev, with a scar on his head. Although the actor understands Hindi, he hasn’t dubbed for his part as the character doesn’t speak regular Hindi.
Anandhraj’s portions were filmed in Bangkok, where he was injured while shooting the climax sequences. He revealed that Ajay Devgn was courteous and advised him to rest well after the accident.
