Actor Karunakaran, who has played an important character in all of Karthik Subbaraj’s films and considers the director an inspiration, will again feature in a pivotal role. Earlier, while speaking to Silverscreen.in, he said, “I don’t know how to categorize Iravi in one single genre, but it will definitely speak about women’s empowerment.”
Iravi is director Karthik Subbaraja’s third film after two super successful films, Pizza and Jigarthanda. The film features Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Anjali, Kamalinee Mukherjee of Vettaiyadu Vilayadu fame and Karunakaran.
