Directed by Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame, the film will feature Sharwanand, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Anu Emmanuel in lead roles. Production house AK Entertainments will be bankrolling the film and put out an official statement sealing the actor’s inclusion.
“Talented Hyderabadi girl Aditi Rao Hydari was already confirmed to essay a crucial character. Now, gorgeous diva Anu Emmanuel is roped in to essay other female lead,” the statement read.
Talking about her role, the statement said: “Anu Emmanuel’s is also a significant role. In fact, Ajay Bhupathi penned the script in a way that every character will have its own importance.”
Bhupathi officially announced the film on September 7 with only Sharwanand’s name revealed in the cast lineup.

In September, the filmmakers announced that Siddharth would be joining the cast, while last week Rao Hydari was announced as the new addition to the team.
Maha Samudram marks Siddharth’s comeback to Telugu films after three years. He was last seen in the 2019 Tamil film Aruvam. Billed to be a “love and action drama”, Maha Samudram is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and is expected to go on floors soon.
Sharwanand was last seen in Jaanu, the 2020 Telugu remake of Tamil film 96, opposite Samantha Akkineni. He will be seen next in Keeravani and Sreekaram. Siddharth’s last full-fledged Telugu venture was the 2017 film Gruham.
Rao Hydari was last seen in V which released on Amazon Prime Video this year. Her upcoming projects include The Girl On the Train starring Parineeti Chopra, Hey Sinamika, and Tughlaq Durbar. Anu Emmanuel was last seen in Tamil film Namma Veettu Pillai(2019) and is currently filming for Alludu Adhurs.
