AR Murugadoss met key Tamil leaders along with Kaththi producer Subhaskaran yesterday. The duo visited Nedumaran, Seeman and Thirumavalavan to discuss issues about the film and are hopeful of quelling any negative response to the project. Several pro- Eelam groups in the state are said to be planning massive protests against Kaththi due to producer Subhaskaran’s alleged friendship with Srilankan President Mahinda Rajapakse. Director AR Murugadoss is said to have met the leaders in an effort to put an end to the controversy.The film’s spokesperson tells us that the team will meet Vaiko soon to gain his co-operation in this regard.
Kaththi is being filmed in Chennai with actors Vijay and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Anirudh Ravichander has composed songs, and the audio will be launched in mid August or September.
Kaththi will release this Deepavali.
