Actor Arjun and actress Raai Laxmi are currently shooting for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual titled Rani Ranamma. Directed by veteran filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna, the film chronicles the story of a Tamilian living in Hyderabad, who helps a young Sri Lankan girl return home. Nearly 60% of the film’s shooting has been completed and the team plans to shoot the remaining parts in Sri Lanka. The movie also has a cameo appearance by its music director SA Rajkumar.
