Actor Arjun will soon be seen in a sequel to his 1994 hit film Jai Hind. The movie, titled Jai Hind-2, will star Arjun and Hate Story -2 actress Surveen Chawla in the lead role. Arjun will also write the story, direct and produce the film under the banner Sri Ram Films Internationals.

The actor has revealed that Jai Hind -2 is an action entertainer with “corruption in the educational system” as its story line. The film would show “how an ideal education system should function to ensure that even the weakest sections of the society will get quality education”. The movie will also have a song on the topic – Ayya Padichavarae, Anjaezhuthu Arjunare – sung by Gaana Bala, and shot in Chennai and Bangalore.
Mumbai-based upcoming actress Simran Kapoor will also be seen in Jai Hind-2. Bollywood actors Rahul Dev, Ravi Kale and Atul Mathur play important roles in the movie, which also features Manobala, Mayilsamy, Brahmanandam, Vinaya Prasad, Narasimha Raju, Gautham Sunderrajan and Bharath Kumar among others. HC Venugopal is the cinematographer while Arjun Janya scores music. Vairamuthu and Pa Vijay have penned the songs and GK Gopinath has written the dialogues. KK has edited the film.
