Actor Arulnithi is currently working on a mystery thriller directed by Barath Neelakantan, starring Shraddha Srinath as the female-lead. The actor who is known for playing roles with fewer dialogues, released the film’s first look poster on Thursday. The film is titled K13.

The poster features Arulnithi looking furious as he is tied to a chair. He seems to be in a damaged room, with his phone battery dying. The film’s logo has a key hole in it – K 13 may be a room or flat number. There’s a ‘sorry’ written on the wall, below a broken photo frame of Shraddha Srinath. A building and a flight outside the window look upside down.
Speaking about the film and its title, director Barath said in a press statement, “K13 happens to be a house address, and it is very connected to the premise of this film. We are bound by certain limitations to not reveal more than this, we want the audience to experience the film by themselves.”

K13 is said to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, with both the lead actors playing unique roles. About casting Arulnithi and Shraddha Srinath, the director said, “The earnest reason behind choosing them is the very fact that they are illustrious for choosing challenging content driven roles, and they are never in a hurry to go for immediate projects irrespective of their successes.”
Produced by SP Shankar and Santha Priya for SP Cinemas, K 13 is co-produced by Kishore Sampath and Tesha Shree. Music for the film is composed by T. Darbukka Siva, cinematography is handled by Aravinnd Singh, editing is by Ruben, and sound design by Udayakumar T. Stunt choreography is by Sudesh, and the action scenes in the film are said to be the highlight.
