The story of Aruvi has been garnering a lot of appreciation. Directed by Arun Prabhu Purushothaman, the film stars Aditi Balan, who has had no film connections before this and is a professional lawyer and football player.
Aruvi stars Aditi Balan in the titular role, a young 25-year-old woman who goes on a reality show and attempts to clarify a misunderstanding that takes a totally unexpected path. The film has been receiving massive praises from all the major members of the film industry including director Shankar Shanmugham, actor Jayam Ravi, and many others.
The team of Aruvi is naturally elated with all the praise but the cherry on the cake was a call from Rajinikanth who called the film’s producer SR Prabhu and personally congratulated the team.

The film is currently being regarded as one of Tamil cinema’s best this year. Recently, the film was in the middle of a controversy for its similarities with an Egyptian film Asmaa, that happens to be the first-ever Egyptian feature film to highlight the problems and stigma faced by HIV AIDS patients.
Meanwhile, All India Rajinikanth Fans Association is preparing for Rajinikanth’s interaction with his fans from December 26 to 31. The meeting will take place at Raghavendra hall, Kodambakkam in Chennai, between 8 am and 3 pm.
