Taking to Twitter, Anand said that the project would be his fourth, Vishal’s 30th, and Arya’s 32nd film. Produced by Vinod Kumar, it was reported that shooting for the action-entertainer would begin soon, while adhering to social distancing and other Covid-19-related guidelines.
The director also mentioned that an official announcement regarding the shooting will soon be made by the production house.

Arya, who will be playing one of the leads, also took to Twitter, stating that he was “looking forward” to the project.

The two lead actors had earlier come together for director Bala’s Avan Ivan (2011). Vishal had a guest appearance in Arya’s Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga. According to a report in The News Minute, Arya will be playing an antagonist while Mrinalini Ravi will be paired opposite Vishal. However, it is yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Vishal has Chakra and Thupparivalan 2 in the making while Arya is busy shooting for Teddy and Pa Ranjith’s next. Recently, the actor had taken to his social media account and shared videos of him working out for his role in Salpetta, which marks the first-time collaboration between Arya and Pa Ranjith.
Recently, Vishal had announced the wrapping up of Chakra and shared some pictures of the crew on the last day. The film which also stars Regina Cassandra and Shraddha Srinath in crucial roles, is expected to have an OTT release soon. The movie written by MS Anandan, will be also his directorial debut. Chakra is bankrolled by Vishal under his production banner and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
