There were speculations about Jiiva and Arya teaming up for Jeeva Shankar’s next film. Now, it looks like the project has been confirmed, and Lycaa productions is likely to produce the film. A source close to the director tells Silverscreen, “Jeeva Shankar is currently in Ooty completing his script for his next. He has already narrated a one-liner to to Arya and Jiiva, and they’ve agreed to work together in this film, to be produced by Lyca.”
The source adds, “Jeeva was in talks with the actors for this project much before Yaman, his latest, took off. As the actors had prior commitments, they were working on their dates to accommodate this film. The production house will soon make an official announcement, and the shoot will begin in a couple of months.”
Jeeva Shankar’s films include Naan, Amara Kaaviyam and Yaman. Arya is currently working on Ameer’s Santhana Devan and Jiiva in Kee. Both films are scheduled to release this year.
