Arya Walks Out Of Vishal Starrer ‘Irumbuthirai’

Arya has reportedly opted out of Irumbu Thirai. The actor was said to be playing the antagonist in the film that has has actor Vishal in the lead role.

Now, according to a report in ToI, the Bangalore Naatkal actor has walked out of the project. “The actor thinks that it’s not the right time for him to portray the role of an antagonist on-screen now. That is why he has decided to opt out of it.”

The team is now said to be on the lookout for an effective villain to replace Arya.

The 36-year-old actor recently made news when he tweeted, “What’s Jallikattu?”

The issue of Jallikattu and its ban in Tamil Nadu is a sensitive issue that has much of Kollywood divided. Actor Arya’s tweet caused a stir online.

Meanwhile, Arya is awaiting the release of Kadamban, the second directorial of Manjapai fame Navin Raghavan. He also has Santhanadevan with Ameer. The project is yet to go on the floors.
