Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh-starrer Oh My Kadavule set social media abuzz today with fans and actors offering their take on the film’s first look posters. Actors Jayam Ravi, Madhavan and music director Anirudh Ravichander released the first look today.
Three posters feature a dominant Ritika Singh holding on to Ashok Selvan, who is attempting to escape, while one shows Ritika happily sharing a glass of tea with a black-eyed Ashok. Both are featured in wedding attire.

Helmed by debut director Ashwath Marimuthu, the film also stars Vani Bhojan in an important role. Oh My Kadavule is in its final stages of production and has Leon James composing music, Vidhu Ayyanna handling the camera and Boopathi Selvaraj on the editing table.
“We do digital marketing and promote films. One day, Ashwath (the director) came for something else and narrated the one-liner. I really liked it and thought why don’t we do it?” says Abinaya Selvam, co-founder of Uptown Ideas. Abinaya and Ashok Selvan are producing the film under the Happy High Pictures banner.
“I was looking to do something different and it was just a decision taken on the spur of the moment… I think it was the story. We’ve been working on the script for a year now and we went to the Axess Film Factory (it previously did Raatchasan). The team there loved it and decided to bankroll this,” adds Abinaya.
Actors Hrishikesh, Janani Iyer and many more from the film fraternity took to Twitter to share their opinion on the first look.

Ashok will be seen in an important role in Mohanlal’s Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham which is in its post-production phase and set to release in March 2020, while Ritika will be seen opposite Arun Vijay in Boxer, which recently released its first look.
OMK will release in November 2019.
