Avam sees the debut of former ad guy Vijay Vilvakrish as director. A ‘dark comic thriller’, the film follows Karthik (Gaurav), a Chennaiite whose life takes a turn for the worse by the arrival of a girl (Kavya Shetty) with a dark past. The movie, which is in the final leg of shooting, is said to be full of ‘enjoyable twists’. Produced by VJ Productions, Kugan S Palani of Raja Rani handles the camera while Athiappan Siva takes care of editing. Lyricist Madhan Karky has penned four songs for the movie and KS Sundaramoorthy has composed music.
Vivek Lester Uthup plays the villain in Avam while MS Bhaskar, Livingston and Anupama Kumar have key roles. The movie’s music will be launched soon.
