Debutante director Nagarajan’s film Azhagendra Sollukku Amudha is a love story revolving around Murugan, an ardent Rajinikanth fan played by Rijan. After several attempts Murugan eventually succeeds in wooing Amudha, played by Arshita. The story follows what happens next. Director Nagarajan is a former associate of Suseenthiran.
The supporting cast includes Pattimandran Raja, Rekha Suresh, Valavan, and Mahanadi Shankar. Shot in locations like Vyasarpadi, Ennore, and Tondiarpet, the director says that Azhagendra Sollukku Amudha will showcase North Chennai in a positive light. With music composed by Rajin Mahadhev, the film also has a song sung by Gaana Bala. The talkie portions of the film have been completed, and the songs will be shot from July 30 onwards.
