Baahubali 2 Makes It To Rotten Tomatoes’ Best Movies Off The Radar 2017 List

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion that released on 28 April last year, has made it to Rotten Tomatoes’ annual ‘Best Movies Off The Radar‘ list. The list features 12 films that may have been overlooked in the year and also mentions the platform it is being streamed in.

While the list aims to suggest films that are smaller films that “come and go without eliciting so much as a curious glance from moviegoers”, Baahubali 2 was actually made on a budget of Rs 2.5 billion and earned Rs 17.065 billion at the box-office, becoming the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

The film stars Prabhas, Ramya Krishnan, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia and is written by Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad. The film’s hashtag was also the most trending hashtag in 2017 in India, and also tops Google’s search list.

Rotten Tomatoes’ list also includes lesser known films such as American Fable, Birdboy: The Forgotten Children, Colossal, Columbus, The Farthest, Kedi, The Lure, Mayhem, Mommy Dead And Dearest, Norman (Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall Of a New York Fixer), and Thelma.
