Baahubali, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, grossed over Rs 60 crores on its opening day eclipsing all previous records. Further, the movie has joined the Rs 100 crore club on its second day and is still going strong at the box office.

The movie opened to mostly positive reviews and was appreciated for its extravagant and larger-than-life visuals.

40 percent of shoot for the second part of Baahubali is complete, and the filming is said to resume sometime in September. Shooting of Baahubali 2 is expected to go on for a year, according to the director.
