Baahubali to Release in Nearly 4000 Screens

S.S Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), and is slated for release on July 10 worldwide. According to trade pundits, the film is expected to release in as many as 4000 screens in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, making it the biggest release for a south Indian film.

The film chronicles the story of two brothers, played by Rana Daggubati and Prabhas Varma, at war for a Kingdom. 12 VFX studios under the supervision of Srinivas Mohan, who had worked in films such as Enthiran and I, have worked on the film for over a period of three years. Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia will be seen in pivotal roles in this epic war drama, which is touted to be India’s most expensive film.
