Bairavaa Audio Launch Cancelled

Bairavaa’s audio launch has been cancelled. While reports of a possible cancellation had been circulating for the past few days, the film’s producer Venkatarama Reddy has now officially confirmed it.

Riaz Ahmed, Bairavaa‘s spokesperson, posted on Twitter:

Instead of a grand audio launch, the makers plan to release the soundtrack directly on 23 December.

Several factors appear to have influenced the decision. Chief among them is the sudden passing of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Another big reasons is the trail of destruction left behind by cyclone Vardah in Tamil Nadu. This had forced the makers of Singham 3 to delay S3‘s release as well.

The music for Bairavaa has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who made it a point to reassure fans that the film’s lead actor Vijay had sung a song for the album. In a tradition of sorts, Vijay has sung at least one song in nearly all his films.

Starring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh, Bairavaa marks the return of Vijay to his “mass” roots. The teaser promises Vijay’s usual punchlines, complicated dance moves, and a wig that moves along with the music.
