Actor Bharath, who is currently shooting for Simba, has been signed to play the lead role in Pottu, a horror film directed by Vadivudaiyan. Vadivudaiyan is currently directing the suspense thriller Sowkarpettai, starring Srikanth and Raai Laxmi. Pottu will be a similar film, although it will be set in a medical college.
Actors Saravanan, Karunas, Suman, Singam Puli, and Urvashi have been roped in to play supporting roles in Pottu. Veteran actress Jayachitra’s son Ambresh will be scoring the music. Further, a major actress has already been signed as the female lead.
Shooting of Pottu will begin this month with Shalom Studios Production House producing the film. This marks the second consecutive collaboration between Shalom Studios and Vadivudaiyan, after Sowkarpettai.
