Amitabh Bachchan has lavished praise on SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning, after watching rushes of the movie recently.

Bachchan said that what he saw was as good as any Hollywood movie, and that he “felt small” in front of a creation this big. Bachchan also said that he hoped millions would turn out to watch the movie since there has not been a production like this in Indian cinema. “I wish I had been a part of this project,” he added.
Starring Rana Daggubati and Prabhas Varma in the titular roles, Baahubali’s first part in the two-part franchise is slated for release on July 10. It also features Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Sathyaraj in important roles.
