Aarav won the first season of reality show Bigg Boss, beating lyricist Snehan and actors Ganesh Venkatraman, Harish Kalyan to the top spot.
As part of the celebrations yesterday, all the evicted contestants were allowed to go into the Bigg Boss house. All eyes, though, were on actor Oviya. She bonded with Julie, spoke to Aarav, wished Snehan and was at her best behaviour yesterday. “You lost a lot of weight,” she told Aarav.

Oviya said, “When I entered the house, I first thought that nobody would like me. When I came outside and saw people’s response it was amazing. Bigg Boss was not just a game to me. I lived a part of my life there.”
Later, the four finalists were brought outside one by one. Ganesh was the first to be asked to come out, followed by Harish Kalyan. Then, actor Kamal Haasan went inside the house and brought Aarav and Snehan to the stage.
When he was announced as the winner, Aarav thanked everybody who voted for him. “ I thank all the people who voted for me. For a person like me, who came to the house, with no recognition, this is really big. I dedicate this to my school correspondent, Geeta mam. ‘You have a lots of talents in you’ she told me,” Aarav said in his winner’s speech.
Aarav was then given the trophy and the cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs.
