Bobby Simha’s next film is Masala Padam. Interestingly, this film sees Bobby share screen-space with actor Shiva, who penned the dialogues for the actor’s earlier venture – Aadama Jaichomada. The film is a spoof on the typical Tamil commercial film, and has been written by actress Lakshmi Devy. Laxman, who handled the cinematography for Suseenthiran’s Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu, has co-written the script and will take on the mantle of director as well, while Lakshmi will essay an important role in the project. We hear that the team has already started filming for Masala Padam and recently completed their first schedule in Pondicherry. The makers are looking at a February release date for this movie.
Bobby Simha also has Urumeen, and an untitled film with Bharat Bala in the offing. Reports indicate that Bobby will have an important role to play in Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi and Nalan Kumarasamy’s Kai Neelam, but there has been no confirmation yet.
