Bobby Simha has reportedly been approached by the makers of Saamy 2 to play the villain in the film starring Vikram, Trisha, and Keerthy Suresh.
According to a Times of India report, the actor confirmed the news but said that he is yet to sign on the dotted lines to officially come on board. Simha is currently busy playing a negative character in another film – Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Karuppan.

Saamy 2, the sequel to the 2003 hit Saamy, will feature Vikram in two roles. Vikram and Trisha reprise their roles from the original film, while a second role for Vikram sees him paired with Keerthi Suresh.
Saamy 2 will be produced by Shibu Thameens, who also produced Vikram -starrer, Irumugan. It will be the third collaboration between Vikram, Trisha, and Hari. Harris Jayaraj is the music composer, and Priyan returns as the cinematographer. Shoot will begin late June or early July, according to reports.
