National award winning actor Bobby Simha has been finalized to play the lead role in the sequel to Ko, said a Times of India report. To be helmed by newcomer Sharath, this action entertainer is titled as Ko 2. Actress Nikki Galrani of Darling fame has been paired opposite Simha while actor Prakash Raj will essay a crucial role in the movie.
“A sequel need not be made with the same cast and crew”, Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, who is producing the project, was quoted by TOI. Reportedly, Sharath’s script and narrative style had impressed Elred who instantly agreed to be a part of the movie.
Ko, directed by KV Anand, had Jiiva and Karthika Nair in the lead roles. The movie did a profitable business at the box office and was appreciated for its gripping screenplay.
