Actor Bobby Simha catapulted to fame with his performance as ‘Assault Sedhu’ in Jigarthanda, which also fetched him the National Award for best supporting actor. In his forthcoming film titled Metro, Simha will be donning the role of a gangster again.The film will be helmed by Anand Krishna, who, earlier, directed the film ‘Aal‘, which had Vidharth in the lead role. The film was a remake of the Hindi thriller ‘Aamir’.
Anand Krishna stated that Bobby Simha would play a menacing villain in the film, and added that the role was tailor made for the actor. Simha will be seen only in the second half of this film, which has newcomer Sirish playing the lead role. This will be Simha’s first negative role, post Jigarthanda. He has movies like Ko-2, Urumeen, Iraivi, Masala Padam, Bangalore Days remake and Kavalai Vendam in the pipeline.
