Actor Vidya Balan is of the opinion that we should name and shame sexual harassers. This at a time when Hollywood is reeling from sexual assault allegations against many of its leading artists.

“I think people who have suffered this only know what exactly does it feel like when you’re really in an uncomfortable situation. When someone just rubs or touches you with his hand, sometimes I get really angry. So I think in that sense, there are a lot of degrees in sexual harassment.”

“I am very glad that people are talking about it now. Women are talking about it and they should talk about it because it is not their fault. We should name and shame those who are sexually harassing others, undoubtedly,” she told media persons during a promotional programme for her upcoming Tumhari Sulu.

Anil Kapoor Faces Legal Trouble Over Veere Di Wedding

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed proceedings before a civil court in Haryana’s Rohtak against film star Anil Kapoor’s company over the title of a proposed film Veere Di Wedding.

Issuing notice to the respondent, Make My Day Entertainment, the bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, and Justice A.M. Khanwilkar stayed the proceedings before the Rohtak court but proceedings before the Bombay High Court initiated by Anil Kapoor’s company would continue.

Make My Day Entertainment had initiated the proceedings against Anil Kapoor’s film company as it too is producing a film with the title of Veere Ki Wedding.

Senior counsel Mukul Rohtagi said that the proceedings before the Rohatak court were initiated by the Make My Day Entertainment as a counter to the proceeding initiated by Anil Kapoor before the high court. Anil Kapoor has said that the case before the Rohtak court was malafide and with ulterior motives to harass the Kapoors, the film crew and others.
