Catherine Tresa has a significant role to play in Rudhramadevi. The film has Anushka Shetty playing the titular role and features the music of Ilaiyaraaja. Speaking to Silverscreen, the actress revealed, “I play a princess in the movie and it is a very interesting role.What makes it better is that I will be seen throughout the movie. A lot of big stars like Anushka, Allu Arjun etc are in it and I’m very privileged to share screenspace with them.”

The actress is also a part of Kanithan in which she plays a modern girl. “I play a sophisticated girl from the city in the film and it’s been an interesting experience so far. The Tamil dialogues were a little difficult, but I worked hard to get them right.” She is also thankful for the superb response her Tamil debut Madras has received from the audience. “I am humbled by all the love and can only say that I will work hard to be a part of good movies.”
