Actress Catherine Tresa, who received critical acclaim for her performance in Madras, has replaced actress Trisha in director Selvaraghavan’s next, said an IANS report. Reportedly, the actress attended a screen test and was finalized for the role. Sources close to the team also revealed that the shooting of this yet-to-be-titiled film will commence sometime in next week.
Trisha walked out of the project citing date issues. The actress will be seen in Kamal Hassan’s tentatively-titled film Ore Iravu and Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2, in which she is paired opposite actor Siddharth.
Selva’s film has STR and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music. This movie will be Selvaraghvan’s next after 2 year sabbatical after Irandam Ulagam, starring Arya and Anushka.
