Celebrities from the Tamil film industry have come together to donate for the Hudhud relief fund. Actors Vishal and Suriya have donated a whopping Rs 15 lakhs and 25 lakhs respectively, while Karthi and Studio Green’s Gnanavel Raja have contributed Rs 12.5 lakhs each towards the cause. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has announced that she will give away a sum of Rs 10 lakhs while Kajal Aggarwal has pledged Rs 5 lakhs towards the cause. Actor Prakash Raj, who has long been a favourite with the Tollywood audiences, has also come forward to support the victims, announcing a donation of Rs 5 lakhs.
Also on the fundraising trail are actors Rahul Ravindran and Rakul Preet Singh, who have given away a lakh each for the rescue efforts.
