Naiyandi director Sarkunam’s film Chandi Veeran will release on August 7. An official confirmation of the release date is expected shortly. Sri Green Productions will be distributing the film across Tamil Nadu.
The film, which is produced by Bala’s B Studios, completed shooting in 60 days. The audio of the film was launched last month to lukewarm response. The film’s lead actor Atharvaa said that he had agreed to the role once director Bala told him that the script would suit him.
Chandi Veeran features Atharvaa and Kayal Anandhi in the lead, with cinematography by PG Muthaiah.
Atharvaa is currently awaiting the release of Eeti, Kanithan and Chandi Veeran.
