Channel V is shutting down, a channel that most kids in the 90s grew up watching. Back in the day, music channels were dedicated to music and not a platform for loud reality shows that claim to be catering to the youth. At a time when there were no memes, gifs, and social media, there was Lola Kutty’s unadulterated humour that kept young adults entertained. It gave us VJs like Gaurav Kapur, Juhi Pandey. Shows like Dare To Date knew how to laugh at and with the audience.
