‘Charlie’ Will Be Remade In Tamil

The Malayalam film Charlie, directed by Martin Prakkat, will be remade in Tamil. The Tamil remake rights of the film were purchased by Pramod Films on February 7. The remake will be jointly produced by Prateek Chakravorty (Pramod Chakravorty’s grandson) and Shruti Nallappa. The cast and crew are still being finalised.

The formal agreement was signed in Kochi. Charlie’s producer Joseph George, story writer Unni R, and director Martin Prakkat were present.

Charlie is about Tessa’s (Parvathy) journey as she searches for a mysterious man (Dulquer Salman) who used to live in her apartment. Produced by Finding Cinema, Charlie‘s technical crew includes music director Gopi Sundar, cinematographer Jomon T John and editor Shameer Mohammed.
