On Telugu actor Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the title of his next film was revealed by Konidela Production Company. Instead of ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ as was announced earlier, the film has been officially titled Sye Raa – a biopic on the famous freedom fighter from Kurnool.
Apart from the first look motion poster, the production company also released the cast and crew of the film that includes big A-listers like Amitabh Bachchan, Kiccha Sudeep, Jagapathy Babu, Nayanthara, and even Vijay Sethupathi.
Last week, it was reported that Sethupathi wasn’t even approached for a role in Chiranjeevi’s 151st film. “He wasn’t approached in the first place. Kannada actor Sudeep is being considered, but he is yet to officially sign on the dotted line,” a source had told IANS.
To be directed by Surender Reddy, the film will be bankrolled by Ram Charan. AR Rahman is the composer for this one, with cinematography by Ravi Varman, and script by the Paruchuri Brothers.
The project was officially launched on August 16.
