Tamilukku En Ondrai Aluthavum cinematographer Deepak Kumar has been signed by director Ashraf to handle cinematography in actor Ashok Selvan’s upcoming Varaipadam. The first schedule of Varaipadam will start in the first week of April in Bangalore and will go on for a month.

Varaipadam is said to be a commercial entertainer featuring Telugu actress Shanvi Srivastava as the female lead. Nivas K Prasanna, who composed music for Thegidi will be handling the music department in this movie.
Late editor Kishore TE, who passed away earlier this month was supposed to work on this film. Varaipadam team says that this film is a dedication to editor Kishore TE.
Cinematographer Deepak Kumar has worked with Ashok Selvan in Pizza 2: The Villa.
