A source from Indian 2 says that cinematographer Ravi Varman is the most likely choice to handle the film. Dil Raju and director Shankar are said to have zeroed in on the cinematographer, as he has the best experience for shooting a film of this magnitude.
Says the source:
“Ravi Varman is high on the list of probable candidates for DoP of the movie. Some other leading cinematographers are also under consideration, but Ravi Varman’s previous collaborations with both Kamal Haasan and Shankar make him the most desirable candidate.”
Kamal Haasan returns as freedom fighter-turned-vigilante Senapathy in the sequel to the 1996 film Indian. The project was announced in September this year.
