It was reported recently that John Abraham and Harshvardhan Kapoor will have a theatrical clash as their respective films, Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, are releasing on the same day, – May 25. However, the makers of Harshvardhan’s movie have now deferred its release by a week. And now, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero will open in cinemas on June 1, the same day as Sonam K Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhasker- starrer Veere Di Wedding.
Talk in the trade is that with Raazi doing good business in the first week and Deadpool 2 coming this week, the producers of Harshvardhan’s vigilante movie apparently felt that they were not getting the required chain of theatres and show timings. So, they reportedly decided to reschedule their movie’s release to June 1. And siblings Harsh, Sonam and Rhea (who’s one of the producers of Veere Di Wedding) will have a ‘familial’ clash at the box office.
