Music composer Pritam Chakraborty has walked out of Raabta, the film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, after the producer expressed an interest to have an “outside song” in the album. The composer took to Facebook to explain the reason for him walking out and removing his name from the film’s credits.
Raabta is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Homi Adajania apart from Dinesh Vijan, who has directed it too. Pritam had earlier collaborated with Vijan on films like Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail.
Deepika Padukone will be seen doing a cameo in the title song of the film while Rajkummar Rao will also make a cameo appearance in the film, which is speculated to be an unofficial remake of Telugu film Magadheera (2009). It is scheduled to release on June 9.
