Court Permits Shilpa Shetty And Husband Raj Kundra To Travel Abroad

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, have been granted permission to travel abroad by a sessions court.

According to an NDTV report, sessions judge SC Khalipe granted them permission subject to certain conditions. The counsel for the couple, Aniket Nikam, pleaded that they had to travel to the UK and the US between June 12 and July 21 on work. The dates also include the IIFA Awards in New York, scheduled to take place from July 14 to 15. The plea stated that both Shilpa and Raj have been cooperative during the probe, and will also submit necessary travel documents at the Kongaon Police Station in Mumbai.

On April 26, Ravi Bhalotia, the proprietor of Bhalotia Exports alleged that he was yet to receive payment for the bedsheets he had delivered through Best Deal TV (BDTV). A case was filed by the complainant against Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Darshit Shah, Vedant Bali and Uday Kothari – all former directors of BDTV.

On May 9, a sessions court in Thane, Mumbai granted an interim bail to Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra and three others in the case. Later, on May 19, a pre-arrest bail was granted to all of them on a bond of Rs 50000 each.
