“Dani Sanchez Lopez, a recognised visual artist who works in the photography and video art realm, made a name in directing international ads, musical videos, documentaries and art forms. He is mixing formats for the period film that crosses several decades.”
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film has Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salman in lead roles. Suresh plays Savithri while Dulquer has been roped in to play Gemini Ganesan. Actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda also have pivotal roles in this period film that hopes to take an in-depth look at the rise and fall of yesteryear actress Savithri.
