While we await official confirmation from director Chimbudevan on actor Vijay’s 58th film, we are getting word from people close to the film that actor Deepika Padukone is likely to be part of the project.

We’d reported earlier that Shruti Hassan, Sridevi and Kiccha Sudeep will be part of the project. “Shruti is excited to be a part of the film because she has always wanted to work with Vijay. While Sudeep and Deepika have not signed on the dotted line yet, it is almost certain that they will be a part of the film,” sources said.
Director Chimbudevan recently joined Twitter and tweeted that he will be announcing the details on Vijay 58 soon on the microblogging platform. Vijay is currently shooting for Kaththi, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as his leading lady.
