Making her Telugu debut, Deepika Padukone will star in director Nag Ashwin’s next (untitled) film. It is noteworthy that Nag Ashwin’s previous film Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh championed the woman in the story (actress Savitri), as well as its lead actress (Keerthy), and was well-received by critics and audiences alike. This new film too will be bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies which is celebrating its 50th year in the movie business.
