GV Prakash Kumar At The Inauguration Of 'AIM HI' - An Education & Training Company

GV Prakash’s next project, produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies will go on floors by June. The movie, directed by Dhanasekharan, will reportedly have Aishwarya Rajesh playing sibling to GV Prakash.

According to latest reports Vikram Prabhu has been hired for a prominent part. The supporting cast of the movie includes the real-life couple Sarathkumar and Radhika Sarathkumar.

It was earlier reported that Dhanasekharan, a former assistant of Mani Ratnam, would be directing a movie co-written by the director. “The film has its dialogues co-written by Mani Ratnam and will go on floors soon. The story was originally planned to be a Mani Ratnam directorial. However, he couldn’t take it up due to his commitments because of Ponniyin Selvan. The story of his production venture is a unique script that will cater to the audience across sections,” said a report.

The music for the movie will be composed by 96-fame Govind Vasantha. However other details about the film are not known.

Dhana Sekaran had made his debut with Padaiveeran which released last year. Starring Vijay Yesudas in the lead, the movie was set in a village in Theni and featured the actor as a police constable. The film also starred Bharatiraja and Amrita Iyer.

Meanwhile, GV Prakash currently awaits the release of Watchman. The movie, directed by AL Vijay, is touted to be a mystical crime thriller. The film also stars Suman, Raj Arjun, Nirav Shah and others. Taking a dig at the Prime Minister who prefixed his twitter handle with ‘Chowkidaar,’ the makers had released a promotional poster featuring a dog that plays a prominent part in the movie.

The composer-actor also has Vasanthabala’s Jail gearing up for release. He will also be seen in Ayngaran directed by Ravi Arasu, Adangathey by Shanmugam Manikandan, Kuppathu Raja by Baba Bhaskar, 100% Kadhal by Chandramouli, 4G by Venkat Pakkar, Kaadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha and Rettai Kombu.
