Soon after the news of Dhanush producing a Tovino Thomas film directed by newcomer Arun Dominic did the rounds, reports emerged that the actor/director/producer will bankroll yet another Malayalam film. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Dhanush’s production house, Wunderbar Films, will produce debutant filmmaker Arungeorge K David’s film, Ladoo.
The new filmmaker and his team took to Facebook to make the announcement.
The cast of the film includes Shabareesh Varma, Balu Varghese, Vinay Forrt and Saju Navodaya, with music composed by Rajesh Murugesan, who is known for his work in Premam (2015). Cameraman Gautham Sanker of Theeram fame is also on board for this project.
Dhanush is currently gearing up to release his next – VIP 2 – starring him, Amala Paul, and Kajol, and directed by his sister-in-law Soundharya Rajinikanth. He recently took to Twitter to announce that the film’s release date would be confirmed soon.
