‘Iraiva’ Is The Latest Single From Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran

Anirudh Ravichander’s work for Velaikkaran is not going to be revealed all at once. As is the norm, the makers have decided to release singles from the film first, in a bid to drum up publicity. The latest reveal is the soulful Iraiva that begins with a beautiful guitar-piano arrangement. Soon enough, Anirudh steps in – the song takes a sudden turn then. What began as a slow number becomes a heavy metal head-banger. With Jonita Gandhi’s entry, the song again assumes its soulful origins.

STR Lends His Vocals For A Quirky Demonetisation Anthem – Thatrom Thookrom

STR has partnered with Kabilan Vairamuthu for an anthem on demonetisation. Silambarasan is at his energetic best in this auto-tuned song that is catchy. ‘No cash’ is the refrain in this track that tries hard to be a commentary on demonetisation and GST.

A typical gaana infused number, this song is certainly gimmicky in nature. However, that doesn’t seem to stop fans from listening to it.

Louis CK Admits Sexual Harassment Allegations; Apologises

Comedian Louis C.K. admitted to engaging in sexual misconduct in front of several women. Through a press statement, Louis wrote:

“These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly,” reported The New York Times.

Netflix has severed ties with Louis as a result of the fallout. The release of a film – I Love You Daddy, starring the comedian has also been put on hold.
